Kat is the owner of One On One Salon; she’s been guiding the salon for over 12 years and has 19 years of experience working with clients. Throughout her career she’s trained with various companies and industry professionals including Sassoon Academy Boston, Kevin Murphy, Stephanie Brinkerhof, Ryan Weeden and many others. She loves to create lived-in-color and fine tuned hair cuts and colors that complement her client’s natural beauty. She loves creating hair that will look great with minimal effort and grow out beautifully. When you’re in her chair you can help her decide — she loves when her clients share photos and tell her what they like. Megan is our salon manager, senior hair stylist and makeup artist. She’s been on our team for 6+ years. Megan has an innate ability to connect with anyone and always leaves her clients looking more beautiful than when they came in. Megan has trained under Kevin Murphy as an eco conscious colorist and under Ryan Weeden's Masters of Balayage Program. She also specializes bridal hairstyling and bridal makeup. Her passion is contagious and she radiates talent — smiling all the way!
Leatrice, or Lea, is a hair stylist and makeup artist in the salon and a production hair and makeup artist on set when she’s not working here. She first attended school for art and photography and later attended the Paul Mitchell Academy and received her cosmetology license in 2008. Lea grew up on a farm enjoying the countryside and the beauty & wildness of nature all around her. She has always been an artist, and has 10+ years of experience working on productions and continues doing both hair her background is in film, commercial shoots, photography, wigs, cut & color. Her lens focused on bridal hair and makeup while she worked full time for a bridal company in Chicago. She has a busy life, chasing twins, and a lot of passion for the beauty industry! Once you sit in her chair you will be a friend for life!
Erik formally began his career in New York City in 2006, training under visionary hairdresser Edris Nicholls at her quintessential multicultural Edris salon. Working there he learned to fully embrace all types of hair from people coming from all walks of life. Erik has done training with Sassoon, Bumble & Bumble, R+Co’s razor-cutting pioneer Howard McLaren, has worked behind the scenes at New York’s fashion week and various high fashion shoots, and has also had extensive training working with curly hair. Erik specializes in cuts of all types, from straight to wavy to coily hair. He also loves the freestyle approach of doing hand painted balayage highlights. Erik’s an avid biker, wakeboarder, snowboarder, and bass guitarist with a love for woodwork and home renovations. Becca has been passionate about hair and makeup for as long as she can remember. Her career began as a bridal assistant and bridal hair became a primary passion alongside her love for hair color. She’s been creating beautiful bridal styles for five years. When she’s not behind the chair, she’s with her darling rescue kitten or reading her favorite thriller/ mystery book. Becca is a Hudson Valley local and she’ll make sure to recommend the best local eateries and hiking spots! She can’t wait to get to know you while she’s creating her magic!
